Nice to meet you!I am a character artist and illustrator based in queensland, australia.due to disability, my art is my fulltime job and i dedicate myself to it as i would any other job i have worked. i am a passionate animal lover and i greatly enjoy opening my home to fosters from all backgrounds.I have attended jmc academy, brisbane and studied in a bachelors of animation. I specialise in character design, concept art and pipeline work.previously, i have worked as a manager for a pet retail store, a supervisor in a pet grooming salon and volunteer work in dog shelters across qld and nsw. if you can't tell- i really love looking after animals!i am currently looking to study within either vetinary science or ecology, i am yet to decide. i love learning about marine science, insects and fungi.
in my spare time, i enjoy reading a good fantasy novel, adventuring with my dog, thorfinn, or playing games like the legend of zelda or monster hunter.
i have been drawing as a hobby ever since i was young, but it wasn't until around 2011 that i discovered an iphone app named 'drawcast' where i really fostered a love for art. i met an amazing community and have made long-lasting memories and friends there.
it is also where i met my best friend somnoire, and we have grown up together and built an amazing network of artists.from 2016 onwards, i went on a long hiatus as family and natural disaster issues became obstacles i needed to work through. the 2019 bushfires cost me my job, but also left me disabled, and ever since i have jjob-hopped and eventually moved to new south wales.
there, i worked on physical therapy, mental therapy and getting a better job.
from 2022 to 2024 i worked as a manager fulltime so i had little time for art. unfortunately, my health declined further and i was forced to retire from working traditional jobs. now, i rely on art to pay my rent, bills and medical costs.
i cannot thank all of you enough for you continued support while i find a safety net for myself.
